SAAP Membership
Welcome to the membership page!
On this page you can pay your dues, enter or update your current profile information (address, affiliation, interests, etc.) and donate to special projects.
William Myers handles membership dues (including online payments) and keeps membership records for SAAP. IF YOU NEED TO BECOME A MEMBER OR RENEW, CONTACT BILL.

To pay your SAAP membership dues online please follow these instructions:
- Learn how to protect yourself from fraudulent emails: Please protect yourself by paying close attention to the emails you receive and the web sites you visit.
- Learn about PayPal's security tips.
- Read this short piece in the New York Times.
- Educate yourself about spam/email fraud here.
- Select the appropriate membership fee and click on the "Buy Now" button to pay secure online membership dues. (Learn how PayPal safeguards your privacy and more.)
- After your transaction has been completed, a receipt for your membership dues will be emailed to you.
NOTE: SAAP has calculated that the benefit gained from dues payment amounts to $46 per year. Any amount over that constitutes a (tax-deductible) donation by you to SAAP, which is incorporated as a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) public charity.
Benefactor Membership - $140. Note: dues come with a subscription to The Pluralist
Sustaining Membership - $90. Note: dues come with a subscription to The Pluralist
Regular Membership - $65 (earning more than $50,000 annually): Note: dues come with a subscription to The Pluralist
Regular Membership - $45 (earning less than $50,000 annually): Note: dues come with a subscription to The Pluralist
No membership; Online subscription to The Pluralist only, $15 - NOTE: this is available only to our non-dues paying members--students, retired, corresponding, unemployed--who wish to have access to the journal.

Donations. For those who usually donate to the Society's special projects fund at the same time as they join or renew their memberships, please note this can now be done online, on the donations page.
Pay Membership Fees by Mail
To become a member or renew your membership by mail, please print out the form below, fill it out, and mail to: William T. Myers, Birmingham-Southern College, Box 549013, Birmingham, AL 35254. Dues are "due" at the annual meeting (check made out to: SAAP).

The Society for the Advancement of American Philosophy (SAAP) is incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Contributions to SAAP are tax-deductible.
